So the request for new logo ideas (nice to see) in our inboxes includes this bit of description of what Tribe wants to project: "- Tribe users include men and women in the 22-35 age range, who frequently live in metropolitan areas"
I just turned 13 years too old to be the oldest on Tribe. I feel like I'm getting away with something, kind of like lying about your age to get drinks only turned inside out....Maybe they only show ads to those of us over 35 so we'll leave?

Re: too old for Tribe?
Fri, March 24, 2006 - 10:38 PMYeah, I read that message too. A company like Tribe.net survives by selling advertising. Someone ought to inform the little twit who wrote that missive that the people with the most disposable income nowadays are not the out-dated, stereotypical Madison Avenue mandated 13 to 49 demographic. Unless he's selling zit cream or rap CDs, the money's with the 50+ demographic. God, was I ever as young and naive as the kid who wrote that message? -

Re: too old for Tribe?
Mon, March 27, 2006 - 4:33 PMI was thinking the same thing about that message! I'm 50 and I have more time to be on tribe, and more money to spend on those stupid ads (as if I would . . .).
Let's all give a big "you're fired!" a la Trump.
Boomers and Buddies sounds pretty good :) -

Re: too old for Tribe?
Mon, May 22, 2006 - 2:44 PMlet's forget the 'stupidity' of the tribe ad-men and their lack of awareness.
as in all cultures, the older members have a perspective and exprerience of wisdom that is invaluable when shared. They can't stop us from being wonderful and gifting our gifts :-}

Re: too old for Tribe?
Sun, May 28, 2006 - 1:40 PMCome on now, guys! My husband is 50 and we still go to all night dance parties... among other things! Sure we feel overly tired at times, and have to plan weekends of just rest once in a while, but the life experience and FUN is so worth it! There is so much to be found here on tribe. Just thoughts. -
